I am attempting to locate information about William Townsend who was born in May 1809 in Clark County, Indiana and his father, Moses Townsend. I do not have a name for William’s mother. Any information would be appreciated.

If your Townsends are from Clark Co. then they are almost certainly “Oyster Bay”, Long Island NY Townsends, and if you don’t already know, you’re in for some genealogical excitement!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
