I am trying to discover who this John Froman’s parents were (there are 2 of them on the 1850 census about the same age so I don’t know which one is mine). Mine was born between 1841 and 1842, served in the Kansas Infantry during the Civil War, married a Sarah Roland\/Rolen\/Rolland and died in about 1868. He had one surviving son w\/Sarah, John W., b. 1866 in Kansas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
