Sylvia Chambers – Sylvia Chambers, 89, a noted volunteer worker from Sterling Heights, died Wednesday, June 21, 1995 in her home. She was born Jan. 30, 1906 in Alton, Indiana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mrs Chambers received the Outstanding Volunteer Service Award from the Michigan Department of Social Services of Macomb County. She also was a long time member of the Bethany Christian Church in Detroit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She is survived by her brothers, Floyd Lane, Lawrence and Ray Ridge; and many nieces and Nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield {north of 15 Mile}, Clinton Township, with the Rev. Jon Carlstrom of First Baptist Church in Mount Clemens, officiating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Burial will be in Cadillac Memorial Gardens, East, Clinton Township. Visitation is 3-6 p.m. today in the funeral home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
