Wife number one appears to have been Mary Montgomery. He married her 11 July 1833 in Harrison County, IN. Wife #2 was Mary &#8220;Polly&#8221; Goodin Bush, the widow of Christopher Bush and sister in law of Sarah Bush Johnston. Polly was a widow when Stephen married her in Hardin Co KY, records say in 1856. Wife #3 was Eliza White Anderson, again, a widow when Stephen married her. She&#8217;s buried with him in Grantsburg. Wife #2 died in June, 1863 &#8211; where is she buried?? Where&#8217;s wife #1, obviously the older of Stephen&#8217;s children belong to wife #1 &#8211; do any of his younger children belong to wife #2?? Wife #3 had children from her first marriage &#8211; her elder daughter married his oldes son. Need considerably more information than I have. I am the great grandaughter of Robert Owen Jones, 1844-1936, one of Stephen&#8217;s sons.
