Smith, 70, of 4306 Sherman Ave., died at 1:47 a.m. Saturday at Suburban Hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She was the former Jesse Jane Curl, a native of Meade County, and was a retired inspector for Brown and Williamson<br>Tobacco Co., where she had worked for 41 years. She was a member of the Farmdale Baptist Church, the Ladies Auxiliary<br>of the Robert E. Newman Post of Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Loyal Order of Moose No. 5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Survivors include her husband.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at McAfee Funeral Home, 3928 Bardstown Road, with burial at 2 p.m.<br>Monday at Bald Knob Cemetery near Payneville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The family will be at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Originally posted 21 JUL 1999 by Maureen Humphrey)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sunday, July 29, 1979 Mrs. Bud W.
