My research takes me to Vernon twnsp, I am told that there was an african-american section or town once called Richland<br>near highway #3. Now where Crosley fish and Wildlife<br>area is now located. My ancestors once lived there proir to 1850. There was also a church for that com-<br>munity as well. Could there possibly be any record of<br>burials for the Kersey&#8217;s ? The census of 1850 states<br>the price of there land.
