John Anderson’s will is on record in the Harrison County Courthouse, Corydon, IN. He died about 1846 as his will was made 3 Jun 1845 and probated 18 Feb 1847. Two children are mentioned – – Joseph ANDERSON, [who became administrator] and a daughter, Margaret who married William DODD. His personal property was to go to his beloved son, Joseph ANDERSON, who married Elizabeth DODDS, and his real estate was to be divided between his son, Joseph ANDERSON, and the two children, John & Joseph DODD, of his beloved, Margaret, now decreased.
