George R. Cutter’s Son Seriously Injured in an Attack by a Turkey

PECKED OUT A CHILD’S EYE

English, Indiana, April 27-An infant child of George R. C utter was viciously attacked by a turkey cock and before the mother of the babe cold run to the rescue, the bird had pecked out one of the child’s eyes and torn off the upper lip and the nose. A physician replaced the nose and lip but the sight of the eye is forever gone.
