Many Killed and Injured in Railroad Accident Near Salem

THE SALEM, IND., DISASTER

Louisville, Ky., December 25-The following are additional names of the killed and injured in the railroad accident near Salem, Indiana, yesterday:
Killed-Boone Thompson, farmer, of Washington County, Indiana.

Injured-J. W. Myers, fireman, of New Albany, left leg and side severely bruised’ Patrick Kane and John Spears of Chicago, the former badly bruised, the latter severely injured about the spine; Samuel Collins of Bainbridge, Indiana, fatally injured; J. F. Boggs of Bainbridge, Ind., slightly injured; James Quarrels, colored, of Chicago, severely bruised and burned; John Coledager (sic), severely bruised; George Davis, American Express messenger of Louisville, fracture of right shoulder and badly bruised.
