Clarification of previous post. My ggg-grandfather Lloyd Murphy was born in Hardin County, KY in 1819. He married Paulina Cundiff on May 29, 1849 in Nelson County, KY. They moved to New Madrid, MO before the Civil War and supposedly returned before 1868. I have no idea where Lloyd or Paulina went. No records of death. Their children show up in various censuses. They were:
Laura A. Murphy (Howell)
Franklin Pierce Murphy m. Mary Elizabeth Clark.
Susan C. Murphy
Lualea J. Murphy
Sarah R. Murphy (born in New Madrid, MO)
I can find marriage record for Laura who married John W. Howell but it does not give me any clues as to her parent’s whereabouts. I’m having difficulty finding anything on any of the other siblings either. Franklin is my line.
His children include:

(2)William Pierce Murphy
(3)Mary Plyne “Molly” Murphy Morris
(4)Charley Murphy
(5)George Murphy
(6)Louis Murphy – my grandfather.
