Mr. Alfred A. Reid brought me this marriage certificate that he found behind a picture he had bought at a yard sale. It is the marriage certificate of Clinton E. ROSS and Rosa A. RIGSBY. Both were listed as being from Chesterfield, (Macoupin Co.) Illinois and being married on October 04, 1911 in Springfield, (Sangamon Co.) Illinois.Mr. Reid was born the day before or after the date of their marriage. He had wrote to the Springfield, IL Camber of Commerce and received no reply.
