Hello:
I have collected some information about the Lankford’s, I have distant connections to the family through several marriages. The earliest is Larkin Lankford,Sr.(?) who married Rachel Tucker in 1797 in Shelby Co,KY. Rachel was sister to my 5th Great Grandmother Elizabeth Tucker.
I think most of Larkin and Rachel’s children moved to Crawford County, so I’m sure there is a strong chance you are a descendent. I have found other Larkin descendents on the Rootsweb.com Message Board for Crawford County, you might try searching the board and posting a query there as well.
