New Albany, April 7, Seymour Boyd, aged sixteen, died of malignant typhoid fever at the home of his parents in Galena, this county, a few days ago.
Public Press 16 Jul 1890 p4 c3 Miss Francis Boyd, aged 17 years, died Thursday morning at Bardstown Junction, Ky. The remains were taken to the home of the deceased parents, at Galena, this county.

Body of Louis Boyd Arrives
The body of Louis Boyd, a former old resident of this county whose death occurred at his home in Belmont, Ky., arrived this morning and was taken to Galena for burial. The funeral service was held in Galena and was conducted by the Rev. Dr. Frank W. Grossman, pastor of the First Presbyterian church. The burial was in the Galena cemetery. Mr. Boyd was seventy-four years of age and moved from this county to Kentucky two years ago. Besides his wife he is survived by three children, J. M. Boyd, who lives on the Grant Line Road; Elijah Boyd, of Louisville, and Mrs. Emma Cundiff, who lives in Missouri. Mr. Boyd was a member of Jennie DePauw Memorial M. E. Church in this city.

The body of Mrs. Lucy Boyd, mother of J. M. Boyd, Grantline Line road, who died Monday night at her home in Fairmount, Ky., was taken to her former home at Galena for burial. She was seventy-nine years old and was the widow of Louis Boyd, who died about two years ago.
