Looking for any birth record information on David L. Sailor. Son of David L. Sailor and Elizabeth Lewis Sailor. David was born in April, 1861, died in Rush Co. 1961. Lived for many years in Ripley county near the Ripley, Jefferson County line. He told relatives that he was born in Jennings County.

Have you checked for different spellings of Sailor. I have a Saylor branch of my family that was in Switzerland and Jefferson, Counties in the same time frame. Andrew born 1866 over the years his name was spelled both Saylor and Sailor.
